CazeTV, the Brazilian sports streaming platform run by the LiveMode agency alongside streamer Casimiro Miguel, has snapped up near-live and highlights rights for a range of top-tier South American soccer properties, through 2026.

A Brazilian deal between LiveMode and the Conmebol South American soccer body, unveiled late last week, gives CazeTV those rights for the top-tier Copa Libertadores and second-tier Copa Sudamericana pan-continental club competitions, as well as to the Recopa annual two-legged tie between the winners of those competitions last season (taking place this week).

The deal will see CazeTV create a live program in a reactionary format, in which presenters will showcase (and comment on) clips of all the decisive moments from each game across those competitions, with a delay of only three minutes after they take place in real time. There will then be full highlights from each match, after the final whistle.

This adds to an existing tie-up between the two parties around the Copa Libertadores Femenina women’s edition.

The 2025 Copa Libertadores began on February 4 with the first stage of qualifying, with the group stage to then take place across April and May, while the knockout rounds will then run through to the final in late November.

Eight Brazilian teams are set to take part overall – Botafogo (last season's winners), Flamengo, Palmeiras, Fortaleza, Internacional, Sao Paulo, Corinthians, and Bahia.

While media rights for that iconic competition are sold regionally across the rest of South America, Brazil is the one country carved out of such deals, where rights are sold separately.

Conmebol has said the tie-up highlights its “search for innovative ways to reach young audiences through new technologies and communication methods.”

Alejandro Dominguez, Conmebol’s president, commented: “This agreement with Cazé TV allows us to bring the excitement of our competitions to a young, digital generation, giving them immediate access to the most decisive moments.”

In terms of live Brazilian rights to these competitions, they are held by a combination of Globo, Paramount, and ESPN Brasil, also through 2026.

FC Diez Media is Conmebol’s exclusive partner agency for selling and distributing club competition rights.

In terms of other soccer rights, CazeTV covers European soccer clubs' UEFA Europa League and Conference League, as well as the Paulista state competition in Brazil. It will also show the Women’s European Championships national team competition later this year.

Elsewhere, it also showed live action from the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, as well as NFL (American football) international games.

CazeTV’s rights deals are brokered by LiveMode, which manages the channel as a joint venture with Miguel.
