The Alpine Formula 1 (F1) motor racing team has unveiled UK sportswear brand Castore as its official kit supplier ahead of the upcoming 2025 campaign.

The multi-year deal sees Castore become the official equipment supplier of Alpine F1, and will produce a range of activewear and sportswear for team members including track team clothing and accessories.

Apparel will be provided to the team’s drivers, technical staff, and even workers at the team’s two factories (in the UK and France).

Castore will also manage Alpine’s online shop on which the clothing, as well as other merchandise, will be available for purchase.

In terms of sponsorship inventory, the Castore brand will be centered around the team’s pit crew, now the “Castore Pit Crew”, and it will appear on their suits and on the team pit gate.

Castore replaces Kappa, the Italian sportswear brand that partnered with Alpine ahead of the 2024 campaign.

In F1, Castore already has deals with rival teams Red Bull Racing and McLaren F1. The McLaren partnership in particular was expanded in 2023 to cover the racing team’s operations across multiple series’.

The Red Bull deal, meanwhile, was said to be the largest-ever commitment “by duration and value” of a sportswear brand in motorsport when it was extended in March 2024.

Tom Beahon, co-founder and co-chief executive of Castore added: “Formula 1 is a fast-growing sport on a global scale and represents a major strategic focus for Castore.”

Other prominent sponsor of Alpine F1 include title partner BWT, compression wear brand Hytro, and most recently social casino partner Modo Casino.
