Global sports and entertainment agency CAA Sports (part of the overall Creative Artists Agency) has appointed Lucy Englander, formerly of English rugby side Saracens, and ex-Eurosport executive Jonathan Davies, to senior roles.
Englander joins CAA Sports’ property sales division, with Davies in as partner of the agency’s executive search wing.
Davies is a veteran of the sports media industry, with former employees including the likes of Saatchi & Saatchi, CNN International, and both Eurosport and Discovery International.
CAA Sports has commented that during his career, Davies has played a key role in “leading innovative commercial strategies across multiple territories."
Englander, meanwhile, spent eight years at Saracens Group as commercial director, following on from senior sponsorship positions at Samsung and Progressive Sports & Entertainment Marketing.
She will focus on identifying sponsorship opportunities for the range of CAA Sports clients – this list includes properties such as the Formula 1 motor racing series, heavyweight F1 team Red Bull, and esports organization Riot Games.
