United Media, the southeast Europe-based media company, has struck a multi-year deal with the organizers of German club handball’s top-tier Bundesliga.
The deal gives United Media exclusive rights to cover the league on its Sportklub pay-TV channels in the Balkan territories of Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.

Sportklub viewers will be able to watch “the three most exciting Bundesliga matches” live from every round of the 20-team league, alongside the full DHB Cup and Super Cup competitions, during the 34-week season.
Nemanja Simeunovic, chief executive of Sport Klub, said: “We have always been dedicated to handball. Throughout the last 17 years, Sportklub has given great importance to this sport through live broadcasts, and we are thrilled to offer the best national handball league this season. Fans can enjoy exciting matches between German and European giants in every league round.”
The Handball-Bundesliga’s 2023-24 season runs from August 24 to June 2 next year.
Domestically, coverage will be provided by a mixture of the Dyn streaming platform and by both ARD and ZDF, the two German public-service broadcasters.
