Telecom Italia (TIM) will continue to show Italian soccer's top-tier Serie A on its TimVision platform after extending its non-exclusive distribution agreement with DAZN, the major sports streaming service.
Under the new deal, 10 weekly matches will be available for the next five seasons until 2029.
As part of the agreement, TimVision viewers will also be able to watch matches from Liga Portugal and the UEFA Women’s Champions League club competition.
Additionally, viewers will also have access to American football's NFL, basketball's Serie A, BCL, and FIBA events, boxing, and UFC mixed martial arts.
Andrea Rossini, chief consumer, and small and medium and mobile wholesale market officer at TIM, said: “Thanks to this agreement with DAZN we are further strengthening TimVision’s position as the most comprehensive streaming platform on the Italian market.
“This agreement is part of our group’s broader strategy to create the first Italian ‘customer platform’ of quality services and content for our customers, leveraging the strength of our brand and our sales channels.”
