Sunset+Vine, the UK-based television sports production and media company, has retained its position as host broadcaster of the International League T20 (ILT20) short-form franchise cricket competition in the United Arab Emirates.
The appointment will see Sunset+Vine produce a world feed, English language pre-, post, and highlights shows, and a dedicated Hindi language feed for the league and its global rightsholder Zee TV for all 34 matches for the 2024 edition, which starts today and runs through February 17.
It will be the second time Sunset+Vine has acted as host broadcaster after fulfilling the same role for the inaugural edition last year.
Huw Bevan, Sunset+Vine executive producer said: “We are delighted to partner with ILT20 for the production of the second season. We saw the entertainment and quality of play that was generated in the first season and how it captured the imagination of cricket fans worldwide, and are excited to see how the League develops in this second season.”
This year, Sunset+Vine will use 31 match cameras, including an array of Ultra and Supermotion cameras and replay systems, Spidercam, Drone, and Buggy cameras, Hawkeye DRS, and QT real-time player tracking graphics.
This upcoming edition will also feature two new cameras installed inside the third umpire room to capture behind-the-scenes insights.

By GlobalDataDavid White, chief executive at ILT20, said: “The ILT20 Season two promises to be bigger and better as we are ready to build further on the success of the inaugural season last year.
“Last season’s production produced by Sunset+Vine working with Zohaib Hussain – the league’s broadcast production consultant – reached out to more than 365 million viewers around the world.
“The viewers enjoyed the action on linear and digital platforms of Zee Entertainment and its syndication partners. We are excited and aiming to reach new milestones in season two.”
DP World, the Dubai-based international logistics company, is the title sponsor of the ILT20 in a five-year tie-up struck ahead of the inaugural event last year.
The competition added to the ever-growing ranks of domestic franchise Twenty20 tournaments worldwide and runs side by side with the new SA20 South African competition, as well as the closing stages of the Australian Big Bash League.
Companies to have snapped up ILT20 franchise ownership rights include Reliance Industries, Lancer Capital, Adani, and Capri Global.
The announcement, meanwhile, comes after Sunset+Vine appointed Peter Angell as its new chief executive last November.
Along with ILT20, S+V’s client base includes broadcasters such as Amazon Prime, the BBC, Channel 4, and Channel 5, as well as sports federations including the International Cricket Council, World Rugby, the Commonwealth Games Federation, FIFA, UEFA, the FEI, UK Athletics, and World Sailing.
