SPOTV Now, the pan-regional sports streaming service of South Korean broadcaster Eclat Media Group, has acquired exclusive rights across Southeast Asia to the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) series and the new Snow League winter sports competition.
The platform will show AEW pay-per-view (PPV) events and the Snow League in Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, Thailand (except AEW), and Hong Kong.
SPOTV Now’s AEW coverage will start with the AEW Revolution event on Monday (March 10), with viewers in the regions able to stream all PPV events live and on-demand.
The inaugural Snow League, created by legendary snowboarder Shaun White, begins this weekend, meanwhile, with the first event at Buttermilk Mountain in Aspen, US.
The debut season will feature some of the world’s top winter sports athletes going head-to-head in four competitions at iconic resorts, with events leading up to, and immediately following, the Milan-Cortina Olympic Winter Games in 2026.
The competition will feature 36 snowboarding stars including men’s reigning Olympic halfpipe champion Ayumu Hirano (Japan), men’s reigning half-pipe World Champion Chaeun Lee (South Korea), and Beijing 2022 women’s halfpipe medallists Queralt Castellet (Spain) and Sena Tomita (Japan).
As well as SPOTV, the Snow League has secured broadcast deals across several regions. New broadcasters include CBC Sports (Canada), Kayo Sports (Australia), and Fuel TV (Latin America).
Fuel TV will air the Snow League across Central and South America in 18 countries including Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela.
Previously announced global broadcasters include Warner Bros. Discovery in Europe, and NBC Sports and Peacock in the United States.
Meanwhile, in addition to its agreement with SPOTV, AEW has announced a multi-year distribution agreement with the Amazon Prime Video streaming service to offer AEW PPV events across the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.
The tie-up begins with the upcoming AEW Revolution and includes tentpole events such as Dynasty, Double or Nothing, All In, Forbidden Door, All Out, WrestleDream, Full Gear, and Worlds End.
AEW adds to Prime Video’s portfolio of live sports globally, including NFL’s Thursday Night Football, basketball’s NBA, NHL ice hockey, and European soccer’s UEFA Champions League, as well as add-on subscriptions such as FanDuel Sports Network, Max, AppleTV+ and Discovery+.
