ProSieben Maxx, the channel of German free-to-air commercial broadcasting group ProSiebenSat.1, and WWE have agreed a renewed and expanded multi-year broadcast deal for the wrestling promotion’s flagship programs.

Through the new agreement, announced today (March 22), ProSieben Maxx will continue to broadcast the Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown programs and will now also show the promotion’s NXT developmental series – all non-exclusively.

Programming will also be shown on the Joyn streaming platform, which is a joint venture between ProSiebenSat.1 Media and media giant Warner Bros. Discovery.

The updated deal extends a relationship that began in 2014 and that was most recently renewed last year.

It represents a double-digit percentage increase in the value of the free-to-air rights.
