Outside, the US active lifestyle media company, and Infront, the international sports marketing agency, have announced a new agreement expanding the availability of International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) World Cup events on the Outside Watch streaming service.
As part of the deal, Outside Watch will broadcast international World Cup events (besides those in Austria) on-demand following live races on its app and website for users with an Outside+ subscription.
The deal serves as an expansion and extension of their previous partnership, which involved Outside being the livestream and on-demand broadcaster of all World Cups that take place in the United States.
Sophie Goldschmidt, president and chief executive of US Ski and Snowboard, said: "This partnership further enhances the accessibility of our international World Cups for our fans in the United States, creating a single destination where they can watch this season’s competitions.
"This new agreement reflects a shared commitment to enhancing the viewer experience and bringing the excitement of international ski and snowboard World Cups into our homes in an easier way.”
Robin Thurston, chief executive of Outside, added: “We’re pleased to partner with InFront to make the full range of iconic international competitions available to the Outside audience.

By GlobalData“There’s no longer a need to shuffle between different TV platforms to view the performances of Mikaela Shiffrin and other medal favorites.”
In addition to Outside, US events will also be shown on NBC, CNBC, and Peacock, while International events outside of Austria will continue to be streamed live and on-demand on skiandsnowboard.live.
Last year the FIS announced it would livestream World Cup events this season on its new FIS TV platform as part of its new centralized media rights deal with Infront.
The free OTT platform was launched in collaboration with Infront to provide coverage in markets without a TV deal.
Austrian events meanwhile will be available to stream on Peacock.
Last month InFront secured agreements with over 30 broadcasters around the world for the 2024 men’s EHF European Handball Championship national teams tournament.
