Streaming service Myco has snapped up Middle East and North Africa (MENA) rights to the 2023 Pakistan Super League (PSL) Twenty20 cricket competition.
Myco (officially called Mcontent), is providing free streaming coverage for viewers through the Web3 Criclife 2 platform, with all games to be covered.
All live streams will be provided by the myco.io site, as well as its mobile app, and the service has said that the platform’s “watch and learn mechanism will allow cricket enthusiasts to earn rewards from watching their favorite sports content.”
In addition to its broadcast coverage of the six-team, 34-game tournament, which began on February 13 and will end with the final on March 19, Myco is also now a commercial partner of the Quetta Gladiators PSL team.
Through that deal, Myco becomes the first Web3 platform to ever sponsor a PSL side.
Umair Masoom, founder and managing partner at Myco, has said: “We are excited to offer the PSL matches on our Web 3 streaming platform in the MENA region … Our viewers will enjoy the high-quality streaming experience and the chance to earn rewards while watching the matches."
