Italian broadcaster Mediaset will cover the 2025 season of hydrogen-powered off-road racing series Extreme H (formerly Extreme E), through a deal extension.
A renewal between Mediaset and Extreme H – which has rebranded from all-electric series Extreme E as of the end of 2024 – was unveiled earlier today.
Mediaset has been an Extreme E partner since that series launched in 2021, and will now continue that association through Extreme H, which officially launches next year.
In terms of Extreme H broadcast deals, late October saw the series agree a three-season tie-up in the US with Fox Sports.
Fox Sports’ primary FS1 and secondary FS2 channels have shown Extreme E in the US, Canada, and the Caribbean since 2021, as well as across Southeast Asia and Australia.
In terms of other motorsports, Sky Italia covers Formula 1, while Formula E is also shown through Mediaset (that deal runs through 2024-25).
