Spanish basketball’s ACB organizing body has extended rights deals with broadcasters in Portugal, the Czech Republic, and the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) ahead of the upcoming new season.
In Portugal, coverage will be provided by global streaming service DAZN following its acquisition of pay-TV broadcaster Eleven Sports, while public-service broadcaster Czech Television (CT) will continue to show matches in that country, and Sharjah Sports will do the same in the MENA region.
The trio of broadcasters will show ACB’s top-tier 18-team Liga Endesa, Copa del Rey, and Supercopa competitions.
DAZN has signed a two-year deal with the ACB, while the agreements with CT and Sharjah Sports cover the 2023-24 season.
As well as live matches, rights packages include the weekly magazine show The Fifth Quarter, which features highlights from all games and special features.
Last week, the ACB renewed rights deals with Start in Russia, PV+ in Ukraine, and Sportklub in Poland.
