The International Ski and Snowboard Federation (FIS) and Endeavor Streaming have today unveiled a partnership covering the FIS TV global streaming platform.
FIS TV launched last year, and so far has streamed over 38,000 hours of free content, Endeavor Streaming has said. Endeavor Streaming – under the overall Endeavor banner – is now set to deliver the streaming service.
The service is launching on Apple TV and Android TV devices during the Alpine World Cup Finals in Saalbach Hinterglemm, Austria, which are continuing over the next few days.
FIS TV is now powered by the Vesper platform offered by Endeavor Streaming, and is available for free online, as well as via the FIS mobile app, and also on Apple and Android TV devices.
Christian Salomon, chief commercial director at the FIS, said: “FIS TV is an important tool to maximize our exposure to new global audiences and improves our proposition for commercial partners. We are very excited to further develop our capabilities with Endeavour Streaming as the market leader.”
As well as live event coverage, FIS TV also shows a range of competition highlights, as well as original feature series, and in addition hosts a range of services to help the various FIS member federations.
