FanDuel, the US-based fantasy sports firm, will air ONE Championship mixed martial arts (MMA) events on its linear and digital channels after striking a deal with the Singapore-based series.
Under the deal, FanDuel’s linear channel FanDuel TV showed coverage of ONE 164: Pacio vs. Brooks on Saturday (December 3) as a teaser event before featuring weekly Asia primetime events starting from January 20.
Mike Raffensperger, FanDuel's chief commercial officer, said: “We’re eager to continue expanding the variety of content we’re offering at FanDuel TV to introduce our audience to emerging sports.
“We’ve long respected the content the ONE Championship team is producing and are looking forward to bringing their action to our audience through FanDuel TV and FanDuel+.
FanDuel launched its linear channel FanDuel TV and streaming service FanDuel+ in August as “the first linear and digital network dedicated to sports betting content” that will offer “more live sports programming than any other network in America.”
At the time, the company said FanDuel TV and FanDuel+ will air more than 3,000 hours of live content including international basketball league action from the National Basketball League (NBL) in Australia, the Chinese Basketball League, as well as the French and German pro leagues as part of a licensing agreement with Sportradar, the international sports data intelligence and digital content service provider.
