Global sports-focused streaming service DAZN has announced it will globally broadcast the upcoming boxing bout between Tyson Fury and Francis Ngannou via pay-per-view.
The bout, set to take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, will be available worldwide on its DAZN PPV platform on October 28 in over 200 territories, with the exception of the UK, Ireland, Canada, and the US.
The broadcaster will also showcase the six fights on the undercard, including the British heavyweight championship bout between Fabio Wardley and David Adeleye.
The fight will open the Riyadh Season sports and entertainment festival, with the opening ceremony to be held between the undercard and the main event.
The bout between Fury, the WBC heavyweight boxing champion, and former UFC heavyweight champion in mixed martial arts (MMA) Francis Ngannou is being co-promoted by global boxing promotors Queensberry Promotions, Top Rank, and Ngannou’s promoter GIMIK Fight Promotions.
The cross-discipline fight, which will be fought with boxing rules, is one of the most anticipated fights of 2023.

By GlobalDataShay Segev, chief executive of the DAZN group, stated: "DAZN is absolutely committed to bringing the best in sports entertainment to its millions of subscribers right across the globe.”
Segev continued: “This match-up between two of the greatest fighters of all time in their respective disciplines promises to be explosive and engrossing – just the sort of event that engages fight fans as well as reaching new audiences.”
DAZN has a long history of broadcasting boxing and MMA, however, in recent years has engaged more in the market for team sports media rights.
Earlier in October, the company renewed its deal to broadcast the National Basketball League in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
It means that for the upcoming 2023-24 campaign, DAZN will broadcast more than 200 games, around seven live per week.
