The E1 all-electric motorboat racing series now has a global broadcast partner, through a multi-year tie-up with streaming heavyweight DAZN.
Through a deal unveiled today, DAZN will broadcast all sessions from each race of the series, with the final race from each event weekend to be broadcast exclusively by the platform across key international territories. These markets include Canada, DACH (Germany, Austria, and Switzerland), France, Italy, Spain, New Zealand, and Japan.
This comes as an expansion and addition to the short-term deal between the same two parties last season — unveiled in mid-June – through which DAZN covered the latter races of the 2024 E1 campaign exclusively in a range of countries.
In addition to the live broadcasting and highlights, DAZN will also create exclusive content including the range of E1 celebrity owners – such as sports icons Tom Brady, Rafael Nadal, Didier Drogba, and Virat Kohli.
The 2025 E1 season got underway in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on January 24, and will run through to a Miami event in November (as was announced in mid-December).
Five of the seven races have locations in place – Jeddah, Doha, Monaco, Lake Como, and Miami.
