The Cricket Australia (CA) governing body has extended its domestic radio rights deals for the next seven home cricket seasons.

The body, earlier today, unveiled details of extended tie-ups through the 2030-31 season with the ABC, SEN, and TripleM (owned by Southern Cross Austero) broadcasters.

CA has said all three partners “have extended the amount of cricket they will cover,” with this deal aligning with the organization’s TV rights tie-ups (signed off in early 2023 with Foxtel and the Seven Network).

Specifically, ABC and SEN will both cover all men’s and women’s internationals taking place in Australia, as well as the Big Bash League and Women’s BBL Twenty20 tournaments, while TripleM will air all men’s home internationals as well as three women’s T20 internationals.

This means TripleM will air women’s international cricket for the first time, while the other two networks are significantly expanding their BBL and WBBL coverage.

All audio feeds from the trio of radio partners will continue to be made available through the CA online and mobile sites, as well as through the networks’ own digital platforms.

The upcoming 2024-25 Australian home cricket season will see the men’s team take on Pakistan followed by India, while the women will play against New Zealand, and then England in the women’s Ashes.

The aforementioned domestic TV deals, meanwhile, also cover all home international cricket, the BBL, and the WBBL, and are worth AUD1.51 billion ($1 billion) through 2030-31.
