Barcelona, the Spanish soccer giants, have launched a new streaming service that will be rolled out for free globally.
The Barca One OTT platform will start broadcasting in “the next few weeks” and offer content based on the heavyweight LaLiga club.
The service has been described as “the natural and necessary evolution” of the Barca TV+ platform.
Barça One will feature over 1,500 hours of material from the Barca TV archives (games, shows, reports, historic content) as well as a new selection of programs with the latest Barca info, including live broadcasts, press conferences, and original content.
The free service will be advertisement-based and will not require registration, but there will also be the option of paying to watch without advertising, an option that FC Barcelona members will get for free.
The first exclusive Barça One content will be “Origins | Araujo”, a documentary about the club’s Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo.
