The 2025 Australian Open tennis grand slam men’s final achieved a national TV reach of 4.2 million viewers on Australian commercial broadcaster Nine.
The final, where Jannik Sinner beat Alexander Zverev to claim his second Australian Open title in a row, drew a total average TV audience of just over 2 million, making it the program with Australia’s highest reach on January 26.
The post-match presentation also achieved a reach of just over 2 million, and an average audience of 699,000.
The pre-match programming meanwhile secured a TV reach of 1.972 million, with an average audience of 799,000.
In terms of the 15 days of the tournament as a whole, it achieved a cumulative reach of just over 13 million in the country.
Meanwhile in Italy, where winner Sinner is from, the final attracted 3.5 million viewers on the Nove and Eurosport channels, both owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery Group.
