Italian soccer’s Serie A has awarded its betting and data rights to Stats Perform, the international sports and data technology provider, for the next three seasons.

Stats Perform has secured the contracts for both the sports betting and media data packages from the league after it launched a tender last month.

The packages include media rights and data of matches for the international sports betting sector and data of matches for the media sector for a three-year period from 2021-22 to 2023-24.

Serie A invited bids for multiple packages, and set a deadline for offers of 22 July.

The packages cover the top-flight Serie A, the Coppa Italia knockout competition and the Supercoppa, the annual fixture contested by the league and cup winners.

IMG, the international sports and entertainment agency, previously held betting rights to Serie A under an international media rights deal for the 2018-19 to 2020-21 cycle that was worth €361 million per annum.
