Spring Media, the Sweden-based international sports media and marketing agency, has hired Tom Edwards as sales director of betting operators.

He officially started in the role earlier this week.

Most recently, he served as sales director for Europe at sports betting supplier Kambi, while between 2010 and 2022 he worked at sports technology services heavyweight Sportradar.

His final position there was as head of sales for global accounts.

Edwards said: “I bring valuable know-how and relations into the mix, and look forward to continuing to drive a healthy revenue growth for our group, clients, and customers.”

Craig Neilson, Spring Media’s commercial director, added: “Tom adds an impressive depth of knowledge to our organization, and will serve a key role in expanding the group’s efforts towards the betting industry. Continuing our active market push, we look forward to meeting up with existing partners and new clients at upcoming betting conferences.”

Edwards’ appointment comes after Spring Media announced industry veteran Camilla Lindgren as its new commercial director last month.

Lindgren has over 25 years of commercial experience across top-tier soccer leagues and federations in the Nordics and abroad.

Earlier this month, meanwhile, the agency was appointed to manage the global media rights of the United World Wrestling (UWW) body for the 2025-32 cycle.
