Stats Perform serves up esports and darts action for betting partners
Stats Perform the international sports data and technology provider, is providing esports content on its streaming service Watch&Bet for the first time through a new partnership with competition organiser Blast.
Watch&Bet, which is offered to bookmakers around the world, is featuring Blast:CS Go content from today, with the first of three qualifying tournaments leading up to next month’s Blast Spring Series Showdown.
From 4 May, Blast Rising, a new tournament developed in partnership with Stats Perform’s rights team, will be available on the platform, with “the fastest available stream to the rapidly growing esports betting market,” according to the company.
Stats Perform is looking to provide additional content for its betting partners in the absence of traditional sport during the coronavirus pandemic.
A further example of this is the Professional Darts Corporation Home Tour, the innovative new series featuring top players competing from their own homes.
The series launched on 17 April and is running for 32 consecutive nights, providing rights-holders with rare live sport amid the present shutdown.
Broadcasters showing the PDC Home Tour include Sky in the UK and international networks and OTT platforms Nordic Entertainment Group and DAZN in markets in which they operate.
There is also a free live stream on the StreamAMG-powered PDCTV platform.
