Netball Nations Cup to debut in England with Vitality backing
England will host a new four-team international netball tournament in 2020 called the Netball Nations Cup.
The event will feature England, Jamaica, world champions New Zealand and South Africa.
Nottingham will host the opener on 19 January, which will be followed by a double-header in Birmingham on 22 January and the finals in London on 25 and 26 January.
The title sponsor of the Netball Nations Cup will be Vitality, the UK-based life insurance company that is the dominant commercial partner of the sport in the UK.
Vitality title sponsored the recent Netball World Cup, and is the sponsor of England Netball, with the national team known as the Vitality Roses. It also title sponsors the Vitality Netball Superleague, the domestic clubs competition, and the Vitality Netball International Series, England's home internationals.
The Vitality Netball International Series will return to the UK in 2021, and involve Australia, the World Cup runners-up, which decided against participating in the Nations Cup "after completing an intense four-year cycle."
