Wider exposure for RallyX Nordic via Facebook
RallyX Nordic, the European rallycross series, is to receive full live coverage on Facebook for the first time in 2019.
It was announced on Wednesday that all seven rounds of the championship will be live-streamed on the platform, with English commentary.
The coverage will be available worldwide and for free at www.facebook.com/rallyxnordic.
Separate television rights deals in multiple markets will be announced shortly.
Welcoming the tie-up, series manager Ian Davies said: “RallyX Nordic invariably produces spectacular entertainment across the board, from the flame-spitting Supercars to the nifty and nimble CrossCars – and the short, sharp format of one race swiftly followed by another makes it ideal for livestreaming.
“We also have many fans outside the Nordic area, and this live coverage will help them to follow us more closely. We encourage all of our thousands of followers on the Facebook page and their friends and families to tune in.”
The 2019 RallyX Nordic presented by Cooper Tires campaign gets under way with a double header in Höljes in Sweden on 17 to 19 May.
It then visits Denmark, Latvia, Norway and Finland before culminating back in Sweden, at the Tierp Arena, on 21 and 22 September.
