Uefa markets licensing rights for Champions League headphones and speakers
Uefa has today invited proposals from companies interested in creating branded headphones and speakers for European soccer’s top clubs competitions.
The licensing rights on offer include the 2019-20 and 2020-21 editions of the Uefa Champions League and Europa League.
The category includes, but is not limited to, headphones, earbuds, noise-cancelling headphones, speakers and Bluetooth and wireless headphones and speakers, and could prove popular given the profile of fashionable brands often worn by top soccer players before and after matches.
Uefa said that it is looking for "suitably qualified companies, ideally with experience working with sports properties."
The process is being overseen by Team Marketing, Uefa’s exclusive marketing agency for the exploitation of selected media and commercial rights to the men’s club competitions, and interested parties seeking further information have been directed to email email@example.com or contact Federico Bobbio, licensing manager at Team, on +41 78 248 9805, no later than 25 April, 2019.
Prospective bidders are requested to include in their email a company profile presentation, details of any similar licences held and examples of other licensed products currently developed.
