UEG to continue with Smartscoring until 2021
The European Union of Gymnastics (UEG), has extended its partnership with Azerbaijan-based scoring company SmartScoring until the end of 2021.
The renewal was signed in Azerbaijan's capital Baku, and means the global partnership between the UEG and SmartScoring, which began in 2017, will continue for at least another cycle of the six main gymnastics events that the continental governing body oversees.
SmartScoring will continue to provide the local organising committees of all European Championships with a results service and options for live streaming.
Farid Gayibov, UEG president, said: “After two years of excellent cooperation, we thought it was time to go to the next level and sign a long-term partnership. The bond between UEG and SmartScoring surpasses the scoring level, with…. live streaming and sports presentation firmly establishing a true global partnership.”
SmartScoring is also a partner of the Azerbaijan Gymnastics Federation.
