Terracina to host 2019 Beach Tennis World Championships
The International Tennis Federation today announced that the 2019 Beach Tennis World Championships will take place in Terracina, Italy, between 10 and 16 June.
Terracina will also host the event in 2020, taking over from Cervia, Italy, which has hosted the championships for the last six years.
The Beach Tennis World Championships were first held in 2009, with the inaugural tournament being staged in Rome.
This year's event is the final opportunity for players to gather ranking points that will count towards seeding for the inaugural ANOC (Association of National Olympic Committees) World Beach Games in San Diego between 10 and 14 October.
