Sunset+Vine retained to produce World Indoor Bowls coverage
Sunset+Vine, the UK-based television sports production and media company, has been awarded an extended contract to continue to produce coverage of the World Indoor Professional Bowls Championships for the BBC, the country’s public-service broadcaster.
The contract runs from this year until 2021, building on a partnership that has been in place for the last three editions of the tournament, which is held at the Potters Resort in Hopton-on-Sea in Norfolk in the east of England.
The production of live coverage and highlights programming will be run out of Sunset+Vine’s Scottish office located in Glasgow.
The Just 2019 World Indoor Bowls Championships got under way today, and the BBC’s television and digital coverage begins on 21 January and culminates with the men’s final on 27 January.
Sunset+Vine has been producing bowls for the BBC since 2003 when it was appointed by the broadcaster for the Scottish International Open, an event the company remains associated with to this day.
