Lottery.com gets behind EuroLeague and CSR programme
EuroLeague Basketball, the organiser of top European clubs competitions, has signed up Lottery.com, the international mobile lottery services partner as a new premier partner.
Under the three-year deal, Lottery.com will receive branding on court and in arenas in both the EuroLeague and EuroCup, and be incorporated into all official platforms.
The new sponsor will also offer raffle tickets and sweepstakes games to basketball fans, and support One Team, EuroLeague Basketball’s official corporate social responsibility programme, in 14 different countries.
The partnership entails a new in-game feature called ‘Crunch Time Clock’, which “will showcase unique stories focusing on the emotions and excitement surrounding the league’s most spectacular winning moments as well as Lottery.com’s charitable initiatives around the globe.”
Lottery.com joins other major sponsors, including Turkish Airlines, the title sponsor of the EuroLeague, 7DAYS, the food company which gives its name to the EuroCup, and Adidas, the German sportswear giant.
Jordi Bertomeu, the president and chief executive of EuroLeague Basketball, said: “The agreement joins two premium brands together, in addition to providing unique engagement opportunities for our fans and support for our One Team's community efforts to empower social change."
The 2018-19 EuroCup got under way last night, and the EuroLeague season begins on 11 October.
