AvaTrade goes global with Manchester City
AvaTrade, the Ireland-based foreign exchange trading company, has stepped up its sponsorship of English soccer champions Manchester City by striking an expanded deal with the club.
AvaTrade, which has been a regional partner of City since February, is now the team's global official online trading partner.
The multi-year agreement grants AvaTrade marketing rights as well as rights to offer exclusive City-related promotions to its customers.
AvaTrade was previously a sponsor of the club in China, Asia and Latin America.
Manchester City won the Premier League for the third time in seven years in the 2017-18 season.
Meanwhile, English top-flight rivals Arsenal have entered an agreement with Tidal, the music streaming platform.
Under the deal, Arsenal members will have access to an extensive library of music on Tidal.
Platinum and gold members will receive a free six-month subscription to the platform’s 'Hi-Fi' service, while silver and red members will have access to the premium service for the same period.
The club will also collaborate with Tidal to create exclusive content, including playlists curated by players.
Arsenal are the latest high-profile club to conclude a tie-up with a music streaming service, following similar agreements between Apple Music and Bayern Munich and between Deezer and Barcelona and Manchester United.
