Seven League extends contract with Bundesliga International
Seven League, the UK-based digital sports consultancy, has extended its contract to provide digital support to Bundesliga International (formerly DFL Sports Enterprises), which markets the top-tier German soccer league’s rights internationally.
Seven League said today that its contract has been “extended beyond the end of the current season, following a successful six-month partnership.”
Embedded inside the Frankfurt team since September 2017, Seven League said that its role “has been to assist in managing collaborations with international digital partners, creating value for official broadcasters using digital services and identifying new opportunities for growth in key territories.”
Richard Ayers, Seven League’s chief executive, said: “Our partnership with Bundesliga International is a clear example of us helping the sports industry to grow its global reach and also increase the value of its traditional media partnerships. The Bundesliga is one of the world’s most prestigious sporting brands and we are thrilled to support them in this way.”
Members of Seven League’s staff are embedded at the NBA, Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, England's Football Association, England Netball, and Laureus World Sports Awards, and the company also conducts strategic work for clients such as Uefa, Barcelona, Juventus, Newcastle United, Leicester City and Great British Racing.
