Shinhan seals title sponsorship of Korean baseball league
Shinhan Bank, one of South Korea's largest banks, has struck a deal with the Korean Baseball Organisation to serve as the title sponsor of the country's top professional league in the sport.
The three-year deal, officially announced today, is worth 24 billion won ($22.5 million), which the KBO said is a record amount for a professional sports league in Korea.
Shinhan gets naming rights to the KBO League and the All-Star Game.
The KBO previously had a three-year title sponsorship deal with tyre retailer Torebank, which was worth 21 billion won.
