Fifa seeks hospitality and ticketing chief
Fifa, soccer’s international governing body, is searching for a director of hospitality and ticketing.
The body has said it is seeking a “service-minded and innovative” individual for the role.
The director of hospitality and ticketing will be responsible for leading the department’s overall strategy, helping to increase sales and achieve financial growth.
The individual is to also oversee the digital strategy for Fifa’s hospitality and ticketing services as well as managing the needs of all of the federation’s clients.
Fifa’s portfolio of events consists of the showpiece World Cup, Women’s World Cup, Club World Cup and several age group international tournaments.

Fifa has already sold just under 730,000 tickets to next year’s World Cup in Russia.
The first phase of the ticket sales process attracted 3.5 million applications.
The second ticket window opened this week and has already had 1.3 million requests, according to Fifa.
