Lagardère signs up Intrum as Stockholm Open title sponsor
Intrum, the debt collection company, is to lend its name to men's tennis’ Stockholm Open after agreeing a title sponsorship deal with the ATP 250 tournament.
Intrum, which has been a main sponsor of the event for the last 15 years, has secured a three-year agreement with Lagardère Sports, the international sports marketing agency, which organises the event.
Christer Hult, executive director of Tennis Europe at Lagardère, said: "It's very fun that Intrum chose to continue this trip to host the event with us and the owner clubs; SALK, KLTK and the Stockholm Tennis Association. Intrum has long been a partner of the tournament and has been in an extremely professional way, fully utilised, the Stockholm Open. Confidence in naming the contest is a fantastic fine rating for the event and the whole organisation."
Scania, the Swedish car brand, was a previous title sponsor of the tournament.
