SAP serves up ambassador role for world number one Kerber
Angelique Kerber, the world number one women’s tennis player, has become a brand ambassador for SAP, the Germany-based software giant.
Through the agreement, the length of which was not disclosed, the Bremen native will represent and promote the brand and continue to use SAP’s performance analysis software.
The deal was brokered by Kerber’s agent Aljoscha Thron.
SAP has been a sponsor of the WTA, the organiser of the top women’s tennis tour since 2013.
Kerber’s other endorsement deals include Italy-based insurance company the Generali Group, and long-term tie-ups with Adidas, the German sportswear giant, Porsche, the German automobile manufacturer, and racket maker Yonex.
