Force India in the pink as BWT splashes out on F1
The Force India Formula 1 team has adopted a new pink livery for the 2017 season as a result of a new sponsorship deal with BWT, the Austrian water technology company.
No value has been put on the agreement but the UK-based team said it was “one of the most significant partnerships” since the team’s debut in 2008.

Force India previously adopted a silver and black livery.
BWT has sponsored Mercedes entrants in Germany’s DTM touring car series for the past two years, but the Force India deal represents its first venture into Formula 1.
Team principal Vijay Mallya said: “The arrival of BWT in Formula 1 is huge news and represents one of the most significant partnerships in our 10-year history. It’s a sign of how far we have come as a team with our strong results and completes a solid commercial performance over the winter.”
Force India finished fourth, its highest-ever position, in the constructors’ world championship in 2016.
