The UK Sponsorship Awards Announces Deadline Extension
The UK Sponsorship Awards organising team is pleased to announce that the deadline for entering this year’s Awards has been extended by a week, until 6pm on Friday, January 31st.
Awards organiser Rosemary Sarginson said: “We experienced some technical difficulties with our IT system in the last couple of days before the official deadline. Having spoken to members of the industry we are conscious that some companies may have been unable to get their entries in on time. As a result, it only seemed fair to provide a short window of opportunity for companies to finalise their entries and submit them. We do appreciate of course the effort made in getting entries in before deadline.”
The UK Sponsorship Awards, formerly known as the Hollis Sponsorship Awards, are widely-acknowledged as the leading event in the sponsorship industry calendar. Awards are given for creativity, excellence and effectiveness across a wide range of categories including sport, the arts and media, with some categories reserved for newcomers and smaller sponsorships.
“Past winners often comment on the internal and external benefits of winning or being nominated. So I’d urge everyone in the industry to seize this opportunity to get involved,” said Sarginson. “It’s just possible you might end the process picking up an Award at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square on March 26th. January 31st is also the last day for nominations for The Best Sponsorship Of The Last Two Decades. Please see website for more detail.
