Survey: 97 per Cent of Sports Fans Plan to Watch Winter Olympics

In a recent Sporting Insights poll of sports fans, 97% revealed that they plan to watch some, if not all of the Winter Olympic games.

Traditionally popular Winter Olympic sports such as skiing and ski jumping are still the events that people are most likely to watch. However the newly introduced disciplines such as skeleton have caused a stir of interest, attracting 20% of viewing attention from curious sports fans - watch this space for their reactions!

Following the Winter Olympics online has surpassed traditional print and radio as a media medium, 93% opting to use the internet to access the latest news from Salt Lake.

Incredibly over 50% of online sports fans around the world plan to visit the official Olympic website.
