Sports.com Replaces Sportal as Juventus' Web Partner
Sports.com Limited, Europe's leading digital sports channel provider of sports content and publisher of www.sports.com , has today announced a new partnership with giants of Italian football Juventus Football Club for the production and distribution of www.juventus.com , the official Juventus website.
The deal will run from March 2002 for an initial period of fifteen months and will further strengthen the Sports.com Pan European Sales Network proposition appealing to advertisers looking to reach a European football audience.
In addition Sports.com's role of technical and Sales partner's will involve assisting and advising Juventus on all online strategy and exploiting possible online revenue streams including content sales and the future possibility of broadband.
Revenue generated for www.juventus.com will be shared with Juventus Football Club. In launching this partnership, Juventus join an elite group of Europe's greatest football teams who have formed long term relationships with Sports.com.
In addition to producing the Juventus site, Sports.com also share revenue and produce live match centres for Real Madrid at www.realmadrid.com and is also the exclusive online advertising partner for Manchester United (www.manutd.com ) and the official betting partner for Arsenal.com (www.arsenal.com ) whilst also being a platinum sponsor of Leeds United.
