Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Clive Woodward, and American Entrepreneur Casey Wasserman Join Soccerex
Another England legend, Sir Clive Woodward, has also accepted an invitation to attend as he makes the transition from rugby to football in his capacity as Director of Football at Southampton Football Club. On behalf of all the delegates, we welcome Sir Clive to Soccerex.
Another legend, but this time off the field and from across the Atlantic, Casey Wasserman, the American entrepreneur is flying in to speak on TV and new media rights at Soccerex.
Wasserman became the youngest owner of a professional sports team when he purchased Arena Football League's Los Angeles Avengers and in 2002 he negotiated the league's groundbreaking national television partnership with NBC and collective bargaining agreement with its players. Wasserman is Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Wasserman Media Group, one of the most prominent sports and media companies in the US, with offices in London.
