Saransk to Host Inaugural Final of the IAAF Race Walking Challenge this Saturday

Monte-Carlo - The IAAF Race Walking Challenge is coming to the end of its fifth successful season, and for the first time ever will conclude with a specific Challenge Final, the inaugural edition of which will be held this weekend in Saransk, Russia.

 

With a huge overall Challenge prize purse to be distributed, large crowds of spectators and participants (in two public mass races), and the presence of the Head of State, this is set to be a memorable finale to the race walking year.


The IAAF Race Walking Challenge Final
is composed of two 20km Race Walks which will take place in the late morning and early afternoon (men 10.00hrs / women midday – GMT +3hrs) of Saturday 29 September.
