Rights for Fifa World Stars Match On Offer
KirchMedia/Prisma Sports & Media, is offering European broadcasters the chance to acquire the television rights to a one-off match between the Fifa World Stars and the reigning world and European champions France, in aid of the SOS Children's Villages charity.
The match will be played at Marseille's Stade Velodrome at 21.00 CET on August 16. The host broadcaster is TF1.
The rights for this event outside Europe are being handled by ISL Worldwide through its ISL Television London office.
The SOS Children’s Villages, a charity established to bring hope, happiness and enjoyment to underprivileged children, will receive all profits made from sales of this event.
The goal of the partnership between Fifa and SOS-Kinderdorf International is to support children and youngsters from SOS Children’s Villages and to convey this idea to the football audience throughout the world.
The joint activities of the two organisations are to enhance the standing of SOS Children’s Villages and support fund-raising worldwide.
