Prague To Host Euroleague, ULEB Cup draws From July 8 To 10
In addition to being the first city without a Euroleague team to host the Final Four, Prague will also host the most ambitious draw weekend yet. Over 48 hours from Friday to Sunday, representatives from all the top continental leagues and clubs will bring a message of great basketball to the beautiful Czech capital. Before and in between the draws, the Euroleague, ULEB Cup and ULEB assemblies will meet, as will the Euroleague Board. The weekend will also feature the first Euroleague Communications Symposium on Saturday, July 9, to take place at the 2006 Final Four venue, 18,000-seat Sazka Arena, regarded as the most modern multi-purpose venue in Europe. Before the Euroleague draw on Sunday, there will be several special announcements, including the names of both the Euroleague head coach and executive of the year as voted by their peers. Mark your calendar as Prague readies for a weekend as Europe's basketball capital.
