Media Partners' Turnover Up 47 per Cent
Media Partners announces group results for fiscal year 2000. Turnover amounted to Euro75,4m, an increase from previous year of 47%. EBIT for the year was Euro6,4m also a positive development.
Media Partners have during the fiscal year strengthen its rigths portfolio. Among the acquisitions are further rights related to wintersport and basketball including premium Internet rights.
MPWeb, the web company of the group, is developing well with several content syndication deals in place. During the fiscal year, MPChannels launched two digital TV channels, Snowtime and Milan Channel.
'We are very happy with the results and the business development in general. We have a healthy web business and we see continued growth in our traditional areas. Further, new rights windows and content development have opened up more revenue streams for us. The current year has also started well.' says Media Partners Director Marco Bogarelli.
