Infront Signs Konica Minolta as Handball Sponsor
Zug, Switzerland, 23 November 2004 - Infront Sports & Media has signed a comprehensive agreement with Konica Minolta Business Solutions Europe GmbH as an Official Sponsor of the European Handball Championships, for all events from 2004 – 2006, including the men’s, women’s and youth events.
The agreement provides Konica Minolta with a sponsorship package covering the European Handball Tournaments listed below, commencing with the forthcoming Women’s European Handball Championship taking place in Hungary, 9th – 19th December 2004.
• 2005 Women’s 17 European Championship, Austria
• 2006 Women’s European Handball Championship, Sweden
• 2006 Men’s European Handball Championship, Switzerland
• 2006 Men’s 18 European Championship, Estonia
• 2006 Men’s 20 European Championship, Austria
Konica Minolta has an option at the end of 2006 to extend its agreement to include the European Handball tournaments from 2007 – 2010 inclusive.
Konica Minolta’s sponsorship package includes floor advertising on the arena floor, hospitality packages, use of official event marks, incorporation of Konica Minolta in the tournament’s official publications and the inclusion of Konica Minolta in the official European Handball Federation (EHF) website - www.eurohandball.com, a joint venture between EHF and Infront.
