Global Sports Development: Does Everyone Really Understand the Logic Behind it?
In a strong keynote speech given at the first edition of the “IF Sports Forum” last November in Lausanne, Pere Miró, the Director of Olympic Solidarity, proposed three areas that should be the focus for the future of international sport development. This speech is featured in this brand new issue of the Olympic Capital Quarterly.
In addition, this new edition also features an interview with Mr. Joao Frigerio, General Manager at Sportcal.com Europe, the powerful online sports news and research platform that connects the members of the industry around the world. This issue also takes a look at the relationship between the media and sport through the eyes of both a sports journalist and, amongst others, a representative of the IOC media relations department.
The Olympic Capital Quarterly was designed to be an educational tool for sport managers, to stimulate discussion within the international world of sport, and also to share with the rest of the world the energy of the Olympic Capital. It is sent to all the International Federations around the world, to all IOC Members, and other media and sport personalities.
