Alpine Canada Appoints New Communications Director
CALGARY, ALBERTA. SEPTEMBER 1, 2004 - Alpine Canada Alpin announced today the appointment of Marie-Hélène Thibeault as Director, Communications and Media Relations.
As a Canadian Alpine Ski Team alumnus and as an experienced ski coach, Marie-Hélène brings, to Alpine Canada Alpin, a wealth of experience from the ski world. Furthermore, her recent positions held in the realm of
communications for two Montreal-based corporations, namely Domtar Inc. and Alcan Inc., will also contribute to the development of our organization, which is the governing body for ski racing in Canada.
As Director, Communications and Media Relations, Marie-Hélène will oversee all internal and external communication activities involving Alpine Canada
Alpin along with its partners and members. In her function, she will be reporting to Joey O'Brien, Chief Operating Officer for Alpine Canada Alpin.
Born in Montréal, Québec, Marie-Hélène holds a bachelors degree from Dartmouth College, U.S.A. and is currently completing her MBA.
