Epsis Graphics used at Euro 2000

Soccer - 16 Jun 2000

ZDF in Germany and TF1 in France are utilising Symah Vision's Epsis Graphics applications to enhance their coverage of the European Soccer Championships, Euro 2000, which is currently under way in Belgium and Holland.

These two well respected broadcasters will be using a variety of graphics during their coverage of Euro 2000, including the Virtual Players' Line-UP (VPLU T) application.

VPLU-T inserts the team selection onto the grass before the start of the match, providing TV commentators with a creative and aesthetic way to introduce the matches.

ZDF's decision to use Epsis' Virtual Imaging was supported by their marketing company Global Sportnet, as well as LMC, Live Motion Company, who operate Epsis Graphics on behalf of ZDF.

For TF1, the use of Epsis Graphics applications on football productions has become an integral part of their editorial strategy to provide more enjoyment to TV viewers.
