D1D2 Sport Acquires Rights to Nigerian National Team Friendly Matches

Soccer - 08 Nov 2012

D1D2 Sport has acquired the exclusive global broadband, mobile and internet global rights to the Nigerian national team friendly matches commonly known as the Super Eagles and exclusive TV rights to selected territories.

The deal includes the exhibition friendly match against Venezuela that is being played in Miami at the Marlin Stadium on Wednesday 14th November.

Live TV rights include Europe, Scandinavia, UAE, Australia and Sudan.

CEO Mahesh Bajaj described the deal as “ a landmark deal” for d1d2 sport who launched their portal this morning: http://d1d2sport.com

Mahesh Bajaj also said “in light of the Super Eagles recent qualification for the Africa Nations Cup” interest in the National team has been re-ignited globally.”

“On a commercial basis if we just simply consider the amount of Nigerian Nationals living overseas and the rise of African Football over the last decade then we pulled out all the stops at the last minute to get the deal formally endorsed by the Nigerian Football Federation”.

For all licence enquires please email licensing@d1d2sport.com or contact Mahesh Bajaj on +447845 445 777.
