CSS Stellar completes TSC acquisition
CSS Stellar Plc is pleased to announce the acquisition of a leading UK independent sponsorship agency, Greville Waterman's The Sponsorship Consultancy Ltd (TSC).
TSC, launched by Waterman in 1993, has a tradition of excellence in sponsorship and marketing for client companies and rights holders alike. With three Hollis Awards for the 'Most Effective Use of Sponsorship' for its Clients in 1996, 1997 and 2001, the addition of TSC to CSS Stellar bears testimony to the Group's commitment to expand and strengthen its share of the growing sports and entertainment sponsorship market.
Waterman commented on the deal: 'This is a great opportunity for TSC as I've always sought to expand the core business and link up with a company with an international perspective. CSS Stellar will provide me with an excellent platform to develop the business while at the same time we bring to the group a range of high profile clients and an added dimension in terms of consultancy experience.'
TSC Clients include, Ericsson, Avon Insurance, Fulham Football Club, Muller, ClubCall, Weathercall, The Football Association of Wales, UK Confederation of Futebol de Salao, Thus PLC, Demon Internet and London Wasps.
'I'm delighted to have The Sponsorship Consultancy as part of the CSS Stellar Group,' explained Julian Jakobi, CSS Stellar CEO. 'Greville has an excellent reputation and sales record, especially within the football industry - an area of particular interest for our company. TSC has now relocated to CSS Stellar's Great Portland Street address in London but will be retaining its name.
